Quality Control. In image processing, quality control is an important factor that is usually viewed as an expensive operation that should be avoided. However, automatic image processing routines are always associated with some error either in the detection or execution phase. QC is aimed to address those error conditions by providing effective tools for an operator to quickly correct those errors.
